Ali0678's Journal, 16 Feb 20

This morning I planned out my foods for the day and so far, at 20:20, I have stuck to the plan! This is a big deal for me!! The next couple of hours are going to be testing though. I always crave something sweet/ cake-y in the evenings with my cup of tea. It's also harder because I'm at the in laws for the evening, so if I am offered something, I struggle to turn it down!

The next test will be being back at work tomorrow. I sit at a desk all day & sometimes reach for a snack just because I can. I need to be more disciplined, make a plan again and stick to it. I'm very nervous though! I want to believe I can do this, but having failed for so long, it is such a huge change in attitude.

Just before I go, a huge thanks to everyone who commented on my last journal and to those who have sent messages/ followed me. I look forward to getting to know some of you as time goes on :)

Ali.

Like tamari87 has said For the evening try Fibre one 90 calories brownie are great with a cup of tea, they also do lemon drizzle ones. Also, try and plan your meals ahead and take a pack lunch to work with fruits and nuts Also, you might want to try Dr Karg Emmental crispbread. First few days will be hard but it does get easier. Well done for today and good luck on your journey. You can do it. 👍🏼😊

Tesco do a cereal bar, I love the salted caramel and chocolate one, feels like a really treat for 138 cals. Something different.

I actually have some of the fibre one brownies, that's a great idea to keep them for my evening snack!

Your in-laws will be supportive if you tell them how serious you are about losing weight 🥴
