Some girls I work with are on this "infused" water kick. I finally tried a glass today and WOW was it good. All they did was get a gallon or two jug for water, add sliced lemons, cucumber, and mint leaves, and refrigerate overnight. You don't squeeze the juice in- just slices, add NO SUGAR, you can add oranges and limes, strawberries, watermelon, ginger... whatever you like (but I had the lemon cucumber) and it was amazingly delicious. I made a jug tonight to take with me tomorrow. I put Key Limes, Lemons, Oranges, cucumber, and ginger in mine... we will see how it tastes in the morning!! They said you can continue to add fresh water over the fruit once or twice, but then you need fresh fruit.

Well, one of the girls has lost weight- changing nothing but drinking this cucumber and lemon water. I am willing to try if that's the case!

Yum. One of the girls I work with likes to use a slice of ginger and oranges in hers. She quit drinking pop "cold turkey" and this was her backup. She says she loves it.

I've got mine with me today and I'm drinking more water than ever now. This could be good just for that very reason. I am so bad for not getting enough to drink.

I have a 20oz water bottle I keep with me at all times during the day. Each time it is empty, I refill it. I usually drink about 5 of them a day (at work!). At home I probably drink about another 3 glasses of water. Each time I THINK I might be hungry, I guzzle some water - and it seems to help. Since I started drinking so much water, I'm not wanting to eat all the time now :) I also FEEL more hydrated, if that makes any sense.

I put a sliver of ginger in mine today, along with cucumber, key limes, oranges and lemons. I have been peeing like crazy. I deffinately got a kidney flush if anything! So far I've drank 3 Red Solo Cups full, and heading for round 4.

Just make sure not to overdo it right off the bat. You need to gradually increse your water consumption or your kidneys will retaliate. It's rare, but there is a condition called hyponatremia that can happen from too much fluid at once. It took me a couple of months to get up to amount of water I drink a day and benefit from it.

Love the cucumber water. Frozen strawberries are good too ~ they keep it cool & sweet at the same time. I'm thinking of trying it with frozen pineapple sticks.
