mars2kids's Journal, 14 May 13

No workout this morning. I think I'm just going to have to be okay with no workout on the mornings after my daughter has late softball games. After June I won't have to worry about it any more. It was a good game to watch though, she was catcher for the 1st 2 innings (which she didn't want to do) and she actually hit the ball and got herself on base and a teammate home. I was pretty proud of her. She's so scared to strike out or look silly and I'm sure she worked up all her courage to hit that ball.

My eating wasn't horrible yesterday, but I had a lot of carbs and not much protein, which will be the case again today. We've been eating quick because of games so that usually means not super healthy. Tonight dinner will be around 7:30 because of a game, so I hope I don't pig out because I'm starving by then.

I wish there were more quick low carb options. Pre-planning & making ahead are not my strong suits, & even when I do manage to do that I usually end up forgetting my food at home. If only McDonald's offered healthy low-carb menu items that were actually edible.
