Tonight is middle school orientation for my daughter, and I feel old. For some reason middle school is bothering me more than any other age. I worried about her in Kindergarten, but knew she'd be okay, but middle school is just so many changes and I worry about my daughter not being able to keep up with everything. I know she will get through, but I'm a Mom and it's my job to worry about her.

Last night I had a small victory, kind of. My son had snacks for soccer and my hubby got him Little Debbie Zebra Cakes, which I love. He had 4 packs left over, but I resisted and opted for a Fiber One 90 cal brownie instead. I know it was still not the best option, but better than the zebra cake. Those things are 320 cals per package, and good, but not worth it.

I was hoping to workout tonight but I am going to hold off for one more day. Tomorrow will be a good moring to try a workout because we're going out to lunch at Olive Garden for work, so I'll need some extra calorie burn.

Day 1 today of breaking up with my scale, so I weighed in this morning, with no changes from last time, and that's it for weigh ins this month. This will be interesting.

Middle School sucks! I think it's the hardest time for a kid. Kids are so mean and I'm only on a boy, I can't even imagine the wreck I'll be when it's time for my daughter. Good news is she has a supportive mom to be there :-), that does alot. You're breaking up too? Man I'm gonna be lonely lol.

My neice is in Middle School and I glad I have awhile before I'll be there. I think girls are meaner than boys. We have Pre-K Screening for my daughter tomorrow. It was hard sending my son to Pre-K, he was very shy and hysterical the first day, I cried all the way to work for 3 days, but it was the best thing for him, he was really able to find his confidence and not be so shy. I'm hoping for the same for my daughter, but its going to be hard sending my baby to school!! Good job on the snack switch!

This is going to be a hard transition for me, but I'm sure high school will be even worse. And, soon enough puberty with hit our house and that will be a fun time I'm sure. Aggie, I think the girl has moved on to others for now. My daughter had field day last week and they were talking and everything was civil, so the drama must be gone for now. Thanks for asking! :)
