mars2kids's Journal, 30 Apr 13

My shoulder is feeling a little better this morning, but still not even close to 100%. I didn't workout this morning because I was tired from not sleeping well due to the shoulder. Tomorrow I'm going to try to do Yoga or something easy, because I need to get a workout in.

Last night we had pizza hut pizza and I ate 3 pieces. When will I learn? I knew I didn't need it, but it tasted good. I should have cut up an apple or something to have with it instead of eating more. Today is a new day, so I'm going to try to be better this evening. We've got a soccer game tonight though, so I won't be home to snack.

I have about 24 days until vacation, and still haven't lost anything. I'm going to try to start Turbo Fire next week (if my shoulder allows it), and I'm going to try to eat within the calorie range it gives me and use most of the foods they have listed. One issue is going to be the snacks. I usually have an evening snack, so I may have to cut that out, or adjust my day so I can still have something small. The other issue is going to be dinner. I know I can get away with making some of the dinners they have, but my family won't eat most of them, so it's going to be about adjusting my calories. If I were single I wouldn't have to worry about it, but it's 3 against 1, so I can't only make what I want or like. I'm just hoping in the next 3 weeks I can see some sort of movement, whether it be on the scale or my clothes fitting better, I need to get past this 135 hump.

Darn pizza! I had pizza twice this weekend, wasn't even really hungry one time but it was so good I just kept eating it! I'm going to really try to buckle down for the month of May and get some downward movement on my scale. Hope your shoulder gets to feeling better soon!

YOu can say that again...darn pizza! I had that on the weekend and was thinking I'll only have one slice and a salad. But when I opened the box, it was sooo tempting. I had a hard time telling myself to stop after the 2nd piece. Hope the shoulder feels better soon so that you get some good sleep and then can workout too! Have fun at the soccer tonight...try to curb the evening snacking! You can do it!

Perhaps I will start up my Turbo Fire workouts again -- can you keep me honest?

I'm with you and stuck again. Eating pretty good so thinking it's the arbs and less activity. As for the pizza luckily when I do give in I feel guilty after one small slice and go for fruit or something. I give everyone theirs and if there's anythign left immediately put it in the fridge. I have hubby FINALLY trained to get a med and not a large which usually means it's one for lil miss, 2 tops for my son and 3 for the hubby and it's gone! Now wings.... that's another story lol!

Thynes, that's a good idea, put the extra in the fridge right away. I should do that, then it's out of sight out of mind. Next time we have pizza, which I'm hoping will be a while, I'm going to tell everyone to take what and I'm putting it away.
