Rain, rain, and more rain pretty much derailed any outdoor plans after noon-time. DH took the dogs this AM so I could sleep in a bit, which was nice, but with 2 big dogs bouncing around on the bed, as if to say, "Get up, get up! Whadda we gonna do today? Huh? Huh?" it makes it hard to go back to sleep.

We cleared out the remaining underbrush from behind the fence and tomorrow, I'm sure my muscles will remind me how much they were abused today. We're talking digging, pulling, twisting, and hauling...all the time with a bit of drizzle going on. By the time the rain really began to pelt us, we called it a day and I just left my muddy shoes outside and walked into the shower, clothes and all. It was a whole lot easier dealing with the mud and sand there than anywhere else. Sometimes getting clean in the shower is one of the best things in the world!
