Bunty, it was an honour. I was a Royal Airforce Police Officer for 15yrs. I had some of the best and saddest times of my life.....so far. More “ best” moments hopefully lie ahead. X

Bubblegum, you have the looks of a 25 year old but the eyesight off a 95 year old 😂 💗

Definitely nothing wrong with my eyesight!!! Take the compliment because it comes from my heart. ❣️

Thanks bubblegum, ( although I think you should visit specsavers 😂) you’ve made me feel very humble. 💗

You know what they say, all the nice girls like a man in uniform! My particular one was a Royal Marine. He did manage to get arrested by The MPs and ended up in Colchester.

Bunty, I gathered by your first post that you had some kind of history with the Marines. I wasn’t a very strict Policeman, the guys on the unit used to call me The Blue Light Taxi! 😂 I’d rather get the guys home before they got in any trouble. Plus I could go into any section and scrounge a coffee 😂 Station Workshops also made me a lot of one off components for my motorcycle. I scrounged coffee and biccys from the chefs in the mess and payed the guys in workshops with them. Happy days. No need to rock the boat if it can be avoided. Then again, if it was an inter services rugby match I was an evil bast@rd 😂 👿

The perfect attitude. I am sure you were well respected by all.

Agreed Bunty, I got on well with the airmen, they knew not to mess and I’d help them out. I once stood on control of entry at the Main Gate at RAF Leuchars in my blue uniform, white hat and a pair of black cowboy boots! Still drunk from the night before. Don’t laugh at the boots! It was the nineties 😂 😂 🤠 🚓✈️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Cowboy boots....................I had a white pair, worn with oddball stretch jeans tucked into them. Thought I looked the business. Kinda wish I still had them (boots not jeans!)

Bounty, if I still had those boots I’d stick a plant in them! Line dancing killed of any chance of them looking cool. Hmmm, wonder if they ever did? 😂 looked ok with raggy jeans whilst riding my bike. Don’t think the RAF took to kindly to them! I always fancied a suede pair, not now no no no no 😂
