Anneemai's Journal, 17 Mar 13

So I went out last night, I wasn't in the mood but my sister convinced me to go out, I had a couple of drinks and had a bit of a dance. It was a good night and I enjoyed myself. So hopefully tomorrow I shall hopefully feel that it is the start of a better week and I will be able to make more healthier choices that will lead me to hacing a weight loss.
I am enjoying making new buddies here and getting to know them, I appreciate the support I am getting and makes me feel that I am not alone. In the past I have joined a variety of weight loss groups, I joined, payed my money and went along for my weekly weigh in. Somehow though after a few weeks I didn't feel a knew anyone.
But I like the fact I can log on here no matter the time and read something that will keep me feeling positive and on track.
Anyway enough of my waffling I best get on and do something else.

Waffle away, we LOVE waffling! It's good to get out sometimes, isn't it? My husband always has to talk me into it, I never WANT to, but once I do I always have a good time. You definitely ARE NOT ALONE here, all you have to do is ask or say something and generally someone will be along shortly. Me, I'm not usually able to hop on much on weekends, but if you message me I WILL get back to you, maybe not soon, but I'll do it as soon as I can. And the best part is-this is free!

And I think this site is free is the best reason to come on here as the people on here are not out to make money and so far I have found people to be honest but also supportive! I check on here via my phone most of the time and so its more flexible for me! Looking forward to supporting others and receiving support! :)

That's so true-people here aren't selling a product. They don't have a bias, they don't have any other agenda, they just want to lose weight. It's refreshing, isn't it?

Very refreshing! And also enjoying looking at the recipes, going to try some at the weekend! I get stuck on the same foods and so looking forward to trying some new foods! Also the fact I have to find out the English equivalent is interesting to! For examople what you call cilantro here in the UK it is corriander! X

LOL-that's so true! Well if you need a British to American English translator for anything, let me know, I can do that! I rarely run across any British-isms any more that I don't know!
