Magpies1990's Journal, 19 Sep 19

So again I have fallen by the way side with writing Calories down but I still feel I’m checking my Calories as I go.
So fallen off the wagon, so let’s get back on it and hopefully keep writing my Calories in my journal 📓 😃🥴😐😳😃

I use a program/website/app called 'cronometer'. I am sure there are man other good programs out there, this was just the first one I tried. Once set up with some basic info you select how much you want to lose (I have mine set at the maximum which is 1kg a week). To achieve this it takes away 1000 calories from the total you are allowed each day (based upon your age/weight/height/gender/etc..). Then as you enter foods into the program it subtracts them from your total. It was seeing this written in front of me which was my wake up call. I regularly have 5-800 calories left over each day (as well as the 1000) and am losing an average ave about 1.4kg a week. I am not affiliated with the program at all, and it's totally free. I did pay for the gold membership, but in all honesty there isn't much benefit over the free version. Give it a try, it definitely is helping me. Cheers.

I honestly hope it helps, it's changed my life in the last 3 months. I don't recommend doing it as fast/extreme as I started to, it's not sustainable. But I found that by entering the food each day I could see exactly where I was going wrong (and there were lots of places :) ). I was then able to modify things until I was happy with the result. In your case maybe cutting out the nutella might be a good start :) Maybe replace it with some strawberries (and no, you can't dip them in nutella ;) ). And keep going to the gym, it will speed up your weight loss, it will allow you to eat more, it will tone your body. It;s going to take time. We didn't get this way overnight :) Msg me if you ever need any advice/help/support :)
