Sandy701's Journal, 03 Aug 10

It's hard to believe it could get any hotter or more humid in the early AM, but the weather managed to do it! It was already 83 with a 73 dewpoint when I took the dogs out this AM. It was an abbreviated walk for them, as it's just too hot and unpleasant for them, especially with no breeze of any kind. They were more than happy to come back home into the a/c.

But then I went out and even added another loop to my walk to get 2.3 miles in. I'm trying to up the exercise a bit to see if I can drop that extra half-pound each week for the challenge. Of course, I was drenched by the time I got back, but the upside to this is that it's EASY to drink 64 oz. of water!! Gotta love that Christmas Challenge!

Now, I'm waiting for the forecasted storm clouds to come over in the next few hours so I can get the lawn mowed out of the direct sun.

I hear ya on this one, Sandy! Same weather here, and it is miserable! Got half of the three acres mowed last evening and will try to finish and trim tonight. Try to stay cool and hydrated!
