so I've been crazy busy these last couple weeks, and I haven't tracked either my nutrition or my workouts. while I haven't been as on top of my nutrition as I should be, I have been working out regularly.

increased all my lifts by 10 pounds Monday evening, keeping me on the 10 pounds per week increase schedule, but I wasn't quite able to complete the pyramid on the bench. Mondays looked like:
12 x 190
10 x 205
8 x 220
5 x 230 (failed on the 6th rep, so started back down)
6 x 220
8 x 205
10 x 190

as you can see, that's a good bit shy of the full pyramid I had planned. I did better tonight, but still fell short by 2 reps.

10 x 205
8 x 220
6 x 230
4 x 245
6 x 230
7 x 220 with a failure about 2/3 of the way up on #8
9 x 205 with a failure about 2/3 of the way up on #10
12 x 190

about to go for overhead press for the first time in over a week. will update then!

Whew! New PR on overhead press! Didn't have time to go up the pyramid and back down, so I just added weight and did a 2 rep and 1 rep set. 12 x 110 10 x 115 8 x 125 6 x 135 4 x 145 (Here's where it gets interesting) 2 x 170 (last week's 1 rep PR) 1 rep 190 That's right, I overhead pressed you, man, @Diablo360x! I know D can probably lift heavier, but it sounds better if I say I can overhead press him and he probably can't overhead press me lol, nevermind that I'm 100 pounds heavier 😂🤣😅

Since I struggled so with the latest 10# increase, I think I'll give it two weeks before trying to make another 10# jump. I'm hoping that Saturday I'll be able to do the full pyramid without missing Eve the 2 reps I failed on today. But then I'll give myself another week at these numbers and see if it gets easier quickly enough to pull off another 10# jump 😀
