woke up ready to roll this morning, but had a migraine by the time I got in town. turned right back around and went home and back to bed. slept til almost 1 on, but felt much better.
made it to the gym at about 530 this evening, and had a good workout. didn't have enough time to do as many workouts as I had hoped, but by the time I was done with the second pyramid, I was smoked anyway! all my lifts were heavier today. part of that was my intentional increasing each lift by 10 pounds a week (bench press), and part of that was my bad math while trying to get the plates right while already half exhausted (squat). the result was a much heavier squat at the bottom of the pyramid that I intended. instead of 12 reps at 205 (last week's 195+10), I did 12 at 225 lol. so instead of following the 5% increase per set, I just went up 10 pounds each set. here's the result:

total weight benched: 15,160 pounds (new personal best) in 76 reps in 9 sets.
barbell squat:

total weight squatted: 18140 pounds (also a new personal best) in 76 reps in 9 sets.
total volume for the day: 33,300 pounds in 152 reps in 18 sets.
feeling pretty beastly lol. can't wait for Friday, when I'll be doing legs again, but won't have the kids and can devote more than an hour and a half to it 😁
