Dieting is so expensive. Healthy food cost more. Buying better fitting clothes cost more. It's a never ending cycle it seems. However, I'm the guy that still keeps his old clothes thinking that I will and still need the bigger sizes. 🤪

I struggled with this too. There’s a reason why Cortes burned his ships. Retreat is easy when you have the option.

I use intermittent fasting, 16:8 (usually fast 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. the next day, sometimes longer if I'm busy), and then eat very simply using a LCHF approach ("Proper Human Diet" per Ken D. Berry, M.D.). Dr. Berry urges people not to get hung up on "health food" (grass-fed this, organic that) if you can't afford it. Reducing carbohydrates, for me, is the key, since I'm also a T2 diabetic.
