One battle to the next. Socializing with friends today at the ice cream restaurant. Thinking keep off sweet, and order a Turkish Coffee and Matcha Green Tea flavor without sauce, cream or other condiments for myself.

It worked. Came home after two hour of fun chat, and do not feel hunger. My GF went for sweeter flavors and had to make a meal as soon as we came home.

Wonderful. Finding ways to get by with my Fructose problem.

Both GF and I noticed itchy skin this morning. Assume that comes from the MSG load we got yesterday.

May get a 'normal' day tomorrow. Hope so. Would be nice right now. Clean day.

What’s all the hype about matcha? Almost bought some, but it wasn’t a cheap item! Benefits?

KayBuckaroo Matcha tea. I don't know. The more I read, the more I get sceptical to all the hype about plant sourced 'benefits'. Basically if an article only writes about benefits, without addressing harm I ignore them now. I was just looking for flavors that I guessed as being on the lower end of sweetness, and there wasn't many choices.

KayBuckaroo Just wanted to add that plant sourced antioxidants works for plants. Our body is not a plant, so these antioxidants get rejected like a foreign substance, like poison. More info about this can be found.

Hey that’s fascinating! I’ve been into making smoothies for a while now and I saw the matcha powder and it seems to be a big hyped up fad, and everything you’re saying is totally making sense to my biology brain.

We have poisoned ourselves already, big time!! With sugar and too much food. A little Matcha flavour, or even a lot, poisonous maybe, will hardly make much difference; is what I'm thinking.
