It happened again! I stopped fasting while on vacation, and I caught the cold. This is day 5 of being sick as a dog. Today, I feel relatively better and can do more than just lie down and take naps on and off. But this is crazy!!
I need to try to remember to do a small fast during vacations to prevent this IF-withdrawals cold. This is not the business.
But! Vegas with the fam bam was fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun in the sun. We went to celebrate my mom's recovery from her second brain surgery. When she woke up and knew that she would be alright, she requested I take her to Vegas. :) I'm so glad she is okay. She had been walking around with a 5 year aneurysm somehow, and is now cured. She is blessed, and we are blessed to enjoy life with her. <3 Thanks be to God.

Wonderful news about your Mom !!! However, sorry to hear of you being sick....I wish you a speedy recovery and hope you feel better. Glad you had fun in Vegas, but I guess there saying is wrong then, what happens in Vegas (your illness), Stays in Vegas ---why didn't you leave it there ? (haha) Wishing you and your family many more fun times together !!!! ;)
