Well I didn't do much today. I'm surprised at myself as to how stressful it is to buy a house. I mean, the stress is coming from not knowing if the house is going to pass inspection and appraisal. Otherwise, I'm really not feeling that uneasy. I know we can get most of the work done ourselves or hire someone... but I just want to know that I am ACTUALLY moving to this place. I want to start packing up and everything but I don't want to be disappointed.

So, I didn't workout. I am kinda upset that I didn't but my TOM just started and I'm feeling ugh. First couple days are always like that. Which explains why I was up a little bit yesterday. I know I'm trying to hit a higher calorie count, but because I missed a major meal today (lunch), I may be pretty low on calories. I don't just want to stuff my face with cookies and snacks and stuff to get my calories up, so better I leave them lower than fill them with crap.

I just really want out of this rental house. My poor kitty is still scratching and losing hair, now behind her ears, and she's never had this issue. I really hope a move to a new place (even though it needs to be cleaned badly) will help her stop.

Inspection isn't until Tuesday, unless we can push it up. We're calling tomorrow to see if there isn't a time sooner, because AFTER the home inspection (if it passes) we need septic and termite inspections. I could do the septic and termite before but if the house doesn't pass inspection then I've wasted my money.

Fishing tomorrow and probably Saturday though it's supposed to be scorching hot... I want to work out tomorrow sometime but I have a feeling we'll be fishing for like 6-8 hours at least. I'm usually pooped when I get home. Arg. Man I hate feeling guilty when I slack off. Esp. because yesterday I only did 30 minutes of exercise. It was rough, lots of jump lunges and squat holds and squats with calf lifts, so I was sweating pretty good by the end. Still doesn't mean it was enough, should have pushed on and done the step aerobics. Shoulda woulda coulda.

Hi "L"! Missing you, girl. I hope you've been fishing and there was a break in the nasty weather for you. I've been slacking, too, especially the work outs. I just got two more DVD's yesterday, so I might try one of those. I put in a DVD yesterday that came with our selectech dumbbells - the adjustable weights ones. It's really good as far as instruction goes - exactly how to lift and what to squeeze, what to focus on, how slow, etc., but it's an instructional one and not a routine to follow. I'd like to find one of those next. And I'm still thinking about getting a Wii for my birthday. I think I'll persuade my son to let me try out his for a week or two and maybe rent the games? Anyway, try to relax this weekend about the house and trust that whatever happens is meant to happen in this case. I hope you're doing okay. - "D"
