First day of Intermittent Fasting: I ate so little today because I am not used to so much fat and I just could not stomach it. I had 1 1/2 oz of Triple Cream Brie, which was delicious and I was hungry, so it went down easily, especially at first. But from then on I could hardly stomach anything. I knew I had to eat, but it was a problem the rest of the day. Sure wanted carbs. When I started this about 2 weeks ago I got diarrhea when I ate a lot of fat. Was so glad to see a video that stated that is totally common at first with a Keto diet. I know I can do this, I am determined. It also helped in that video that the gal said it took her almost two months to switch over to Keto and her body to adjust. I need to buy Keto testing strips. I also need to start taking lemon juice or Apple Cider Vinegar in the morning. Maybe before every meal. Thank you Lord I found this site. I tried another one yesterday, and it didn't look like it was going to work for me. I was willing to pay a little bit, like 2.99 but I didn't want to pay before I knew it would work for me. It helped to read reviews of sites, but even then this one was not listed. I just looked at a few, read the reviews, and then saw this one listed on Google. When I got fustrated with tracking sites, today for the first day, I tried to list the Macro's on a blank page. I could do it, but it was time consuming, and when I was finished, I realized I had forgotten the fat composition. So I started looking at tracking sites again. Thank you Lord I had the time to devote, even though my husband seemed irritated I was on the computer so much. It's sad that he is irritated at me so much of the time, unless my attention is directly devoted to him. My patience runs thin helping him on the computer so much, then he forgets it all, and we have to start over: some information in an hour, and some in a week. I need to be glad he still plays with the computer at all, to occupy himself, plus it's good for him. I wish he would be willing to IF and do Keto. People say it would help his brain, but he is not willing, well maybe 10%. But mostly his body/brain is running on glucose, and it is deteriorating. Lord, please give me strength, patience, gentleness, cheerfulness, and wisdom. Ate till 10 last night: Fasted 10pm to 4pm today=18 hours Ate 4pm-11pm=7 hour eating window.
