i’ve been struggling more than ever to keep going with my healthy eating and regular exercise, i even bought new running shoes, a pair of gym clothes and a fit bit to make the process easier and to reward myself because lately all i’ve been saying to myself is “no”, “no, don’t eat that” “no, don’t sleep go to the gym”, “no, don’t decrease the incline”or sometimes i wonder maybe in some subliminal way i did that so i could feel i was invested in myself because the truth is i don’t have a lot of money splurge like that and so if i take the little money i have and invest it in this process i’ll be more pressured to stay on track and stick to my goals...
WHAT AN EPIC FAIL!😑
ugh any tips or pointers that you guys can send my way i’d greatly appreciate it 😫

I woke up today and directly checked my phone. Then i told myslef if you don’t move now or go swimming within 10min you will feel heavy and disgusting all day. So like a good girl threw on my swimsuit and swam for 20min. What i felt motivated me to do more so when i got home i stepped on the elliptical and did another 20min exercise. Once you feel how you body os feeling after workout you will feel happy and motivated to do more. I will even workout in the evening for another 20min. Once you realize what effert you put while exercising, you will be more conscious about what you eat. Well in brief, just get up and workout. The first step is the hardest. But reward to you soul will come shortly afterwards.

I’ve been on this roller coaster for a while now and over time I’ve learned that when I am craving foods or ravenous it’s because I am not eating the right amount of protein or fats my body needs. When I eat the right foods I don’t think about food. Celery was the first thing, I read his article “I ate celery for one week and here’s what happened”. I thought I’ll give it a go if it reduces inflammation in the body. I find it keeps me full for ages if I have it between meals. I hate eggs but tried a hard boiled egg for breakfast just to have something in my stomach for the antibiotics I’m taking. I felt so full a while later and that lasted well through lunch. I often tend to take grab and go bars to work for convenience but they make me crazy for something else to eat. Up your fibre and protein it does wonders.

Lots of protein and fruits make me full. Don’t be so hard on yourself just try to relax and take it one step at a time

No need to shame yourself, be kind to yourself and say yes! Yes I can be healthy! Yes I can look fabulous! Yes, I can feel great

You’re gonna have a “bad day” sometimes— maybe you won’t exercise or you’ll eat more than you want. What’s important is not letting a bad day make you give up. Just get up the next day and start again. No one is perfect and we all have days where we just can’t. Being healthy is about consistently making good choices, so what if you have a couple days in a month where you at badly or didn’t exercise, look at the month as a whole and what you accomplished. ☺️ You got this!!
