A.M. fasting BS 147. (I figured my A1c from last ten readings: 6.0) Today's planned calories: 1234, macros 62/10/28. I had a smoothie for breakfast this morning, first time since I started Keto. I meant to add butter or coconut oil but forgot it, so I had to figure some in menu for the rest of the day to bring up the fat ratio. It's time consuming to plan ahead and get the macros balanced, but it does beat eating mindlessly.Update:1170 calories, 61/10/29 % Final update: 1220 cals. 62/10/28 % 21.62 net carbs. Have to do better than that! Steps today: 3454.
Today's activities include preparing more peaches for the freezer. So far the harvest has been spread out, not all trees ready at the same time, so the yield per day is small. They are also small peaches this year. North Texas weather has been strange, ahead of itself by about a month. We are having triple digit weather now, usually August is the hottest month. When I got in the car Tuesday to go to work, the interior temp was 106. We had forgotten to leave the windows down a little.
I keep meaning to rip out the rest of my garden since everything is drying up, but it's too hot to do it during the day and my evenings seem to be too full to do it when the temp is less. The only garden stuff loving this heat are the bell peppers and the squash bugs!
