yay it went back down!!! for some reason I don't loose weight 2weeks out of the month but once I have my cycle I start going back down that week and usually the week after. so happy to see the scale going back down. I did get results from the blood work back which my cholesterol is a little bit high about 12points over what it should be which I can get back down but my triglycerides are extremely high and that I have to work on alot. everything else is good except for I have anemia and I have been anemic for yrs now so I'm sure they will be trying to put me on iron pills again and cholesterol pills.

You need to increase your protein and decrease your carbs.

Morticia Adams I know I need to get more protein in and could probably do better than I am if I can lower the carbs even more but I have been staying in the rdi for calories and carbs except for the week I ate awful but yes I average about 150carbs a day and I'm not trying to do keto as it's bad for someone to try and do long term. What I can do long term is lower my carb intake like I have done though. I want this to be something I do the rest of my life not just a few years and then gain weight back.. Thank you for your help and support..

If you find that you have polyps, please look into uterine embolization before hysterectomy. It is less invasive and the recovery is a breeze by comparison. It doesn't throw you into instant menopause either. I had a similar situation, I wish I had known what I was signing up for before I did it. I saved my best friend from the hysterectomy, 15 years later she's in natural menopause.

Great info Slyone, I have a couple friends with werid heavy periods I will let them know about uterine embolization and to ask about it. Finding less invasive procedures is always important and oftentimes when one is on a medical card they try to find the easiest solution instead of the best solution; so anytime I can find alternatives for my friends or myself I tried to do that. 😊

I know that the medical community is always learning as new procedures are used and vetted. Maybe it depends on how the procedure is done and patient age. All of the ladies that I have been involved with were late 40s. None of them has had any recurance or progressed to the hysterectomy. However as we all discuss frequently, everyone has to evaluate within their personal medical providers and the expected outcome. I feel less invasive is usually going to be my first line of defense. You can do the hysterectomy if if isn't the right answer for you and yours. In making a decision as major as this one, I would certainly like more than one medical professional, guiding you through the options.

I'm already going through menopause and it sucks there's a procedure done on women called the ablation and it is supposed to help also before you have to have a hysterectomy done...
