Did you see the video I posted last week on dealing with batwings? slow but steady.

I'm going at batwings with a different perspective Sara. I am looking at them in the context of progress, a NSV in a way. It's a sure sign that you are dropping fat. Empty skin is left behind, I'm hoping fasting will eat away at some of it and I'm building some bicep muscles that are going the other direction so maybe some of the skin will tighten as those build. I make a serious effort to not look at my body with anger, disgust or any type of negative emotion. It is not aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but it has done its best for me over the years, in spite of chronic abuse that I throw at it. So, it is deserving of love, respect and a certain amount of awe for the amazing machine that it is.

Thanks guys, staying positive is difficult, negative thinking is as insidious as sugar addiction. Where ever you leave a crack it can worm it's way back in and it plays games in your head and starts that nasty little voice deep inside to start spouting off ugly things. We must stay vigilant and keep the positivity going. Taking things you perceive as faults or flaws and turning them into a positive impact item goes a long ways in keeping your mindset on the + end of the spectrum.

Thank you Debra you are so right I need to look at the bat wings as victory. I had them from once before when I was 320lb the heaviest I had ever been and lost 110,in 3mo basically starving myself and I end up putting that back on plus more so here I am trying to loose it back and keep it off this time..

Sara, we gotta keep the phrase "This one's for the Win!" in the forefront of our minds. I have starting over from the beginning as a plus point on my resume. This time I am aiming for habits that I can sustain for a lifetime so I am going a little slower, improving the areas I am weak in and trying not to skip anything important. Keeping my mind, body and emotions balanced. YOH and I keep going back to the old Kung Fu TV series....."Mind and body strong GrassHopper!"
