I’ve been sick since Monday. Nothing sounds good to eat. Vanilla ice cream sounded good to me, so I had a cup and now feel slightly better. I know my choice of foods aren’t the best when I’m sick, but sometimes you just have to go with the flow. It’s not the best time to be sick with graduations and weddings, birthdays and anniversaries coming up, but if I miss a few special moments because I’m sick it’s okay. I need to take care of myself for the short and long term.
My adult daughter’s situation is starting to move along slowly and painfully, but it’s moving and not stagnant like it has been. I’ll take that as a step in the right direction. She has been harsh and cold towards me and my husband. I am giving her a pass for now, as she has been traumatized, however we are going to talk w her with a therapist. Her verbal barrage, shaming and blaming is wicked and we will not allow her to talk to us like that. Especially because we took her and her baby in when she had no place to go. It hurts and confuses me to fathom that she’d treat us like this.

Happy 🐫day! I have changed what I eat and now making mostly vegan meals and snacks. I can already see a huge difference in my overall health and well being!!! The most notable healthy physical signs is my skin, hair, nails, and GI track. The most notable mental health changes are brain clarity, no brain fog, no depression, huge boost in my energy level, and reduced anxiety.

I eat raw fruits and raw vegetables everyday. I have one cup of coffee with a dash of oat milk and a dash of honey and cinnamon about 4 times a week. I add hemp heart, chia seeds, and flax seeds to my yogurt, oats, meals and smoothies. I use almond butter, almond flour, cocoa powder, raw almonds, walnuts, and cashews, and use almond flour and chickpea noodles. I really love edamame, chickpeas, and avocado. I make vegan sauces and simple homemade dressings.
We are all safe and the court rulings have been favorable on my daughter’s side. She is slowly healing and our grandson is full of love and light! Today is a good day. yy
