Well, I'm not much one to follow other programs, like low carbs, atkins ect, and I have nothing against anyone who does...but I did want to say that I have lost 20lbs in less than 2 months by simply eating and drinking the stuff I love, just less of it. I drink coffee with 2 1/2 teaspoons of real, white , processed sugar because it tastes great, and I add 18% cream, because fat tastes great too. I enjoy beer, haven't exercised in nearly 3 weeks, and feel great.

The reason I am writing this, is because I think a lot of people struggle with weight loss, myself included...but I have proved that I didn't really change my diet significantly, but instead I have changed my portion size...instead of having 42 hot wings, dredged in delicious butter and hot sauce and smoked on the smoker BBQ, I'll eat 6, instead of drinking 10 cans of beer daily, I'll have one or two (this was hard), and at supper I'll take a small portion of most things, and maybe eat some garden beets instead of the item full of cheese...and my favourite late night snack is boiling two cups of water, taking the flavour pack from the ramen noodles, tossing the noodles in the trash, and drinking the chicken flavour drink...the combination of MSG and disodium inosinate, working in synergy with each other to fool my taste buds and brain into thinking this really tastes a lot better than it really is...is enough to satisfy my junk food craving...and a lot less calories than potato chips containing MSG, which nearly all the good ones do.

Anyways, just wanted to encourage all who sacrifice so much flavour, and don't see the results they are hoping for, enjoy the things you like, just have less of them...and maybe don't keep potato chips in the house...
