Thank you for the words of support. My family lives about 6.5 hours away. My spouse will be the one taking care of me. He is military and will soon be posted 3 hours away from me, the other direction. Coming home only on weekends. Thankfully they have pushed his posting date farther into the year so that I have time to heal.

Good luck with surgery and best wishes for a speedy recovery. I would try to stick to lots of different home made smoothies, veggie ones, fruit ones, fruit and dairy etc but try to stay away from ensure, it’s full of chemicals. Fresh and home made is always best.
