I was on a no salt cardiac diet for 10 years ate what I was told was healthy and continued to gain weight. Then I saw an article on Keto.... Bacon? Cheese I can really have them??? Salt is encouraged??? So I launched on an epic journey killing my sugar monster and dropping one bad thing off the menu a week. I gained 10 pounds SO fast my head was spinning.... However I did not have the queasy stomach and I felt like getting up and doing something. I kept going. The boxed foods were the next thing after sugar and flour. Once those were out Oh MY HEAVENLY DAYS there was my first woosh it took 2 weeks to finish and I lost 22 pounds of INFLAMMATION WEIGHT. I have not had that big a loss in that short a time since but it told me along with feeling better this was the one for me. I went for a 6 month check with cardiologist my weight was down 58 pounds and I felt great told him I went ROGUE with the keto diet and he straight up told me I was gonna die. I told him his solution wasn't doing JackZIPPYnadda! and this was working I'll get a new doctor. Took me a year to get to find a doctor who approved of KETO but I eventually did and was told my blood pressure was fine (I had stopped taking pills when The manual cuff says my pressure too LOW CONSISTENTLY) He also said my heart was behaving and I could go off those meds. So now I take a multi vitamin and that is all. No more pills to fix a problem that caused side effects that had to be controlled with more pills and more side effects.... (I had 15 pills at one point in time) That was 8 years ago. According to my calculations I should weigh less than zero I have lost that much weight...my head space cant let go of the past sometimes and I go back up for a while..... then down... then up... Like this 30 pounds I have been messing with for 5 years.... grrr I just realized it was 5 years the other day.... back and forth ..,,, back and … forth.... TIME TO KILL THIS BEAST ONCE AND FOR ALL! I am getting married in November and starting a new life there is no room for my past in my future. These are my least favorite part of me … thighs... I want to see improvement here that is where the last hold out weight is stored in mass quantity. I WILL HAVE IMPROVEMENT.
