I will be 71 on my next birthday and have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes almost 2 years ago. I have a complete left hip replacement 3 years ago and that is when I started gaining weight. I also have a bad (arthritis)ankle and due to these conditions I can't stand for any great length of time. I try to exercise laying down most of the time as my ankle will not allow high impact exercise. I would like to lose weight to reverse my type 2 diabetes and would appreciate any help doing so.
