LSG417's Journal, 05 Mar 18

The scale actually said 146 yesterday, but I knew it wouldn't stay there just yet. Sunday is my splurge day. Maybe I should change my official weigh in day to Wed, lol. Just glad it stayed at 147, especially since I went over my max calories and way too many carbs for one day. Still working out what kind of eating plan I can handle and stick with to try to lose a bit faster. I'm not into deprivation, so a lot of these fad diets are not for me. I want to change for the long term anyway and most of the plans I've seen are not something I'd be willing to stick with indefinitely. I'm just happy that the scale is going down and so are my measurements. Clothes are getting loose. Another 10 pounds should get me in the next size down comfortably. I can squeeze in them now, but not comfortable in the gut, lol. I have a short term goal of 135, which gets me out of the "overweight" category and gets me a better BMI, but I do hope to achieve my ultimate goal of 120 and maintain it. Trying to work more consistent weight training into my schedule in addition to my walk/jogs with my son on these nicer days. Muscle burns fat faster! Happy Monday all!

Thanks murph! I've been trying to do more walking outside with the milder temps and it's nice having my son to walk with me. He loves walking/jogging with me and we have some good convos. He's a good kid.
