Debbie Cousins's Journal, 15 Feb 18

Wednesday was another "wanting to eat all day" day. At least I was able to stay within my goals and was able to check off all the Mini-Challenges as positive! Just wish this dumb scale would go DOWN instead of just sitting at the same 206 range for so long. Every morning, I expect it to move downward, but NOTHING. I've been going to the bathroom a "little" more than I have lately, but nowhere near the way I USED to go. Going to start Magnesium today, and see if that makes any difference. The new anti-depressant I started taking about 3 months ago was GREAT when I first started it -- gave me all sorts of energy and motivation. (I had all my Christmas decorations up, and the house fully cleaned and decoraged by 11/9!) Maybe I should see if that needs to be adjusted again. Anyway, hanging in there, doing the right thing, just waiting to reap the rewards. I SO want to get under 200 lbs! Gotta give myself some own advice here: "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." (Galatians 6:9)

I so feel your pain, but do you need to weigh daily or at all? I gave my scale away when we moved to a TINY place and although I've only been doing this a week I am not weighing at all. On another topic, have you read any blogs written by others taking the same antidepressant? I was taking one and it caused weight gain. Medications work differently on everyone. Instead of meds have you considered THERAPY? I did that a few times and it made more difference than meds and I was in control. Hope your day is perfect

Hello, Just letting you know that if you start taking magnesium malate you can help yourself by going off the anti depressant. Magnesium naturally depletes itself in our bodies but it's also known for easing anxieties. If you don't suffer from anything major, then I would suggest it. I feel way more clear headed since going off Zoloft. It hasn't helped my weight loss but that's ok. My iodine level is preventing me from losing. I also eat grain free and sugar free. I just added KELP to increase my iodine the natural way. I use the Wheat Belly plan by Dr. William Davis.......2 great books......10 day grain detox and Undoctored. Look into them on Amazon!!! It's my plan for the rest of my life. Feeding my body only healthy foods is the only way to heal it naturally. Good luck to you!!!
