At the end of three weeks on my plan, I am a few pounds closer to goal. I am an impatient person, but have to just accept this will take a good long time to achieve -and not become frustrated and quit.

104.7 kg Lost so far: 5.5 kg.    Still to go: 32.1 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.

I too am into immediate gradification! I found it helpful for me to look ahead. Think Christmas. Think of your new Christmas figure, your new Christmas outfit. When I started in Sept. I was looking ahead to this summer. For me, it is a LONG journey but well worth the trip. It's the time it takes that will help us make the life style changes necessary to keep the weight off and develop good eating/exercise habits. You CAN do this. You are already on your way and better today than you were yesturday. Forward motion!

I read your profile and can sympathize. I give up when I don't see the results I want. But over time I have worked to think instead...."I am not gaining, the losing might be slow, but I am not gaining." This helps. My body seems to like to lose very very slowly.
