Steven Lloyd's Journal, 06 Aug 17

Weighed in at 198.6 first thing in in morning then 196.4 after a dehydrating 1.5 hour bike ride...weight was down 2.2 pounds even after drinking about 2 pounds water (just under 1 litre) during the ride...so still logging my weight at 198 set weight.

Note, good steady effort ride with some HIIT going up hills. Heart rate was 147 avg, max 175 (second big hill)... 20.6 miles total in one hour 33 minutes, with 2 big hills and a few smaller ones. Pretty good sweat generated...shower was awesome :-)

Nice day!!!

PS: photobucket has recently stopped allowing free posting of pictures to third party sites like FS. Consequently all of my before/after pics, ski pics and other pics are gone prior to Dec 2016. Not the end of the world and very thankful I hadn't used Photobucket for anything other than FS...if anyone has an easy solution to reposting pics, please let me know...thnx!!!

Nice job! Between you and Glen, I might just tune bike up again. Careful though or we'll all be posting weekend abs selfies...

Thanks for the kind comments and thanks for the advice all. Posting pics via file loading is easy, but the URL linking thing has never been my forte. April, I'll give Imgur a whirl first and report back with my results good or bad...lol. T8U9, a good bike is a ticket to a great exercise escape...my bike is 17 years old, heavy steel frame, wide knobby tire mountain bike...well tuned though with some worn out parts replaced over the years. Very useful here in Canada as I have hundreds of miles of bike paths and trails right outside my doorstep. Our bikes in Kailua Kona are Specialized, road bikes, light and fast but very prone to flat tires with any road debris (cactus thorns, wire, glass, etc)...:(

You look great, Steven. :) I am thankful for the photo image suggestions you are getting. I just signed up for Imgur. Think I already have an old Flickr account but can't remember them giving the BBC codes.

It took awhile but all old pics are back in place, glad I didn't have a ton....I think I'll need a nap though after all that "work" :-) Honestly though it wasn't too bad!! Thanks again April, Maine coon and Redgirl for your tips.

I have years of photos in my journal but most of them are cartoons. SO I won't worry too much about replacing all of that. Good for you for getting that fixed.

And I LOVE your cartoons!!!
