Draglist's Journal, 21 May 17

Woke at 205.6, down 2.4 from yesterday after a strict 650 calorie IF day with a good outside walk (with heart rates up into the 160s). Targeting 2184 calories today. UPDATE: Fasted until 12:30, had a nice lunch, and then ate dinner at 6:30. Got five miles in before that. Pre-dinner weigh in of 206.0 was gratifying. Went over on carbs and protein for dinner. Always a challenge to get the macros exactly right. Spent the weekend researching Drs. Seyfried and D’Agostino, who both confirmed my notion that calorie restriction in addition to LCHF is needed to fight cancer. Also looking at Protein Sparing Modified Fasting (PSMF), as my body fat loss has essentially stalled. It is an extreme step and conflicts with Dr. Fung’s teachings. I don’t think anyone has the absolute science down on all of this but we are getting very close,

Bill you are right ...about the science not being right for ever one of us yet. One day we will have.our own personalised bar code tattooed on our heads and this will be what we are allowed to eat. Then easy peasy you walk into a supermarket and continue walking around until the checkout and there is your prepared food trolley..all done and dusted. Don't forget you heard it from me first.😁 Take care. I think I'm so lazy in comparison to you Bill X 😱

Sounds like you have been doing your research...all good sources. Have you read anything by Dr. Mercola? I have been following him since the Truth About Cancer conference last fall. He has a new book out, Fat is Fuel. I have ordered it but not read...it supposedly addresses cancer and LCHF. Just an idea. Wishing you continued progress.

Great....I think he is on spot on lots of topics! My husband has squamous cell carcinoma located in the sinus cavity...due to glysophate usage. He was n again pilot and told like the rest of us that glysophates were harmless. Dr. Medical has a lot to say about Monsanto....

There is so much info out there. I get Dr. Mercola's newsletters. I just read an article on the dangers of eating beans. I rarely eat beans but have had them twice this week already. Geez. Talk about leaky gut. LOL! I looked at the PMSF briefly one day and I noticed it said to do this if you are extremely obese ... not if you have a small bit to lose. What have you read to make this sound like something you should do? I almost ordered Dr. Mercola's new book. Without really knowing much about his book, it sounds as if he does a bit of carb cycling. Has anyone read it yet?
