Steven Lloyd's Journal, 22 Mar 16

It's been 4 1/2 weeks since the "back injury" and it has really been progressing well, for the most part I'm moving almost back to pre-injury levels, however I'm still REALLY careful with any side loading, lifting or jarring.

Also, very happy as I've been able to do some long duration interval training for about 1 and 1/2 weeks and "sort of" HIIT training for about 5 days without swelling and pain. My Doctor has been very helpful (not always the case, lol) as he himself had the same injury about a decade ago.

Only a pound down but have lost about 1 1/2 inches (two belt notches) around the waist and a bit of fat through the sides and midsection. Going on a small family ski vacation with one of our daughters (the pregnant one), son in law and our oldest grandson for the next three days, I will likely ski a little bit, but only Very, Very slowly and carefully.

95.3 kg Lost so far: 13.6 kg.    Still to go: 4.5 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.

Hey Misty, mom to be was going to ski but had a bit of a scare a few weeks ago so she is only going to be walking the base area...the inside joke is she and I will be together on the learning slope with the grandson while SIL and my wife (the Pilates queen) are out killing it.

Hey Misty, yesterday was spring skiing, very soft and enjoyable...back was fine, skied 16k vertical with no issues. It's going to be a great day today though, 18cm overnight. They are doing Avalanche bombing right now and it is dumping big fat flakes, forecast to continue till tomorrow morning... Powder skis today :-)
