Woke at 216.4, down .4 after a 2400 calorie deficit day. It was 57 and sunny, so I ventured out for a nice six-mile walk. Did true HIIT: warmed up for four minutes, then alternated 30 second all-out sprints with 90-second walking rests. Did eight alternating rounds and then walked the rest at 4 mph. Came home for a nature break and ended up talking to my neighbor for 20 minutes. So came in early and got a 214.8 weigh in. Had a nice dinner of roast beef and carrots and then did another 30 minutes on the treadmill to achieve 213.8. Ate 341 calories today to pretty much nail my monthly calorie goal. Will eat 1825 per day on average in February as the experiments continue.

Thanks, Jim. This stuff isn't getting any easier. I just compared this month to December. I literally took my calories down by 400 per day on average and I'm still over 210. Let's see if the February goal of 1825 works for me.

Nope, doesn't get easier. The less excess weight to lose the slower it goes. Good luck to you in the coming month.
