Man, I’m AM getting pretty good at this! Woke at 210.0 and noted that I planned to hit 206 or 207 after my evening workout. Got a pre-dinner weigh in of 210.2, and then hit 206.4 after my 1000 calorie HIIT treadmill session. Very happy about that because I think that puts me only .2 lbs. away from getting back into the BLUE maintenance color. Had to get a good workout in because I’m driving to Ohio tomorrow night to see my daughter perform her senior cello recital at college and I won’t work out again until Tuesday night. Targeted 1500 calories but added a banana and some Brazil nuts, which took me to 1729. It’s all good! Will eat a little closer to normal RDI this weekend but will get back on the 1500 per day bandwagon starting on Monday. Will do that until I achieve my 1972 per day average.

Thanks, Kathy. She passed her juries. Yes, we are recording this. Unfortunately, we can't get video in this venue, but we will definitely be getting it recorded on audio. I love the one we did last year, but she winces when she hears it! That's the difference between a hack like me and a pro... Will definitely get it to you. Thanks.

Didn't fully answer your question, Kathy. It is at noon on Sunday at Bowing Green State University in the Wolfe Performing Arts Center. She finished her jury, and this is her senior recital, as you know a major event in a performance major's career... Emily will be playing her brand new $18,000 cello (you read that right :o). Her teacher told her some time ago that her skills had long since outpaced her mere $2500 cello. He's happy with this one and says it sounds like a $50,000 instrument. What do I know? Only that this is her passion and her career, and we are happy and proud to get her started. We will have a small catered affair afterward (with our family and friends and about 70 of Em's fellow students). I don't expect the food to last there (just small sandwiches and cookies, etc.) so we will have to go out for a nicer, more substantial dinner somewhere afterwards! I will try to be good, but if it's Biagi's in Perrysburg, Ohio, as we anticipate, there will be some good Italian eating going on!

Just enjoy. I do remember those day of the jury's and performances. They happen rarely. Again, enjoy yourselves.

Hi buddy what a treat ..... I have a daughter who was a music major in college ..... and remember events like you described. They are wonderful. Soak in the moment .... They go by so quickly.
