Moving on down. Feeling good. Steps 56,839 for the week. Worked out with my small weights at least one to two times a day, sometimes more. Mixed up the exercises and added more exercises. New record twice in one week for steps taken. Kept my calorie intake up. I had been eating more calories during the holidays. Of course, weight gain, even with staying near what should have been my maintenance calories. Seemed a good time to do the 'reverse dieting' to get out of the starvation mode by upping my RDI and work on insulin sensitivity. Added more whole grains such as oatmeal and whole wheat pasta. I had stopped, for the most part, any grains. Used CoachCalorie (.com) for tips on these topics. Check out the archived articles and the calculators. Not to jinx myself but my strategy does seem to be working at this point.

Had one birthday celebration this past week. Happy I didn't gain weight from the good food I enjoyed. So many of my friends, who hadn't seen me for awhile, commented on how good I looked and said they noticed I had lost a lot of weight.

Usually, after the holidays, I do have a weight drop after the huge weight gain. I feel good that I am being proactive and doing more for my body. My goal is to be healthy, happy, and live life!

:) It wasn't my birthday, thank goodness. A dear friend of mine had a big bash for her birthday. I did it up right for my birthday in November. Part of my holiday weight gain which goes from Halloween to New years day :) !!

Yes, LittleRed, if this doesn't work for me I will do something else. I never give up. I will go back to under 1000 calories if this 1361 doesn't work out, do intermittent fasts, manipulate macros or go to high/low days again. Whichever works. We do know, I will never starve myself :)
