Being on the scale strike didn't make me stop weighing myself, but I knew what the scale was going to say before I got on it because I kept my eating "on program" and it worked!
73.0 kg Lost so far: 3.2 kg.    Still to go: 16.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 0.5 kg a Week

Hey congrats on your weight loss but I'm starting to get the impression that this scale strike challenge is actually harder than some people thought. I'm like you in the respects that I've had a good week of eating right and exercising but I did find something to replace getting on the scale today to measure my progress; an old pair of shorts that were a little too tight last week are now fitting comfortable this week. I guess I'm using this challenge to work on my will power cause yeah things are fitting better but I want to see what that scale says lol.

yes MomofTwoGirls I think I cheated after you did because what the heck? But it really was tough, Splendidhammer, even thinking that I would skip weighing - I just couldn't do it! Ok I have no willpower but I don't have old shorts either!

You guys are soooo right about how tough it is to stay off the scale. I think the purpose of the scale strike is NOT to weigh on those days when our bodies FEEL as if they weigh less. Today my body FEELS as if it weighs a TON! Today would be a GOOD day to go ahead and weigh because I have probably gained three pounds when I FEEL as if my body has gained EIGHT pounds! Sometimes weighing is a GOOD thing!
