Aww, don't you just love new technology. :) It's supposed to make our lives easier. Maybe that why I am over weight?

I remember in school being told that one day computers would get rid of the need for paper. As near as I can tell, all it did was generate the need for way more paper and bureaucracy.

No biggy, par for the course. Gmail just updated on one of my tablets and now the body of an email flashes and then blanks - only in vertical mode. Tried to request an invite for an Amazon Echo and the link leads to a "page does not exist" message.

draglist, the Amazon Fire TV is the best streaming box around in my humble opinion. Lots of good reviews. I get one myself, but I don't have a fast internet connection or a TV with an HDMI outlet. I tried to get an Amazon Fire Stick because the price was so good - 19 dollars for Prime members. However, every time I tried to order, it kept raising the price to list, which is 39 dollars. The Amazon Echo looks like a good deal at $99 for Prime members. Not sure I'd be willing to shell out 200 for it, though

The Amazon Echo is the future: ubiquity is computing. Trek on!

Glad to hear. The Echo is what the Nexus Q should have been.
