Vacation time and resultant easing of daily intake had me waking at 208.0 lbs. Went to a local park and walked 4 miles in an hour. Nicer than a treadmill! Got back at noon and got a better 206.2 number. Will be a tightrope of food and fun choices this week. Will try to work out daily.

Thanks, MrsMole! Will keep checking in. Have a good digital scale available but for weight only. Will let me know how far off I'm going. Eating fun carbs that have me wanting to eat the kitchen sink! Time to stock up on raw veggies!

I would love to be able to walk outside, but balance with the knee gives me a tiny wobble after a period of time, plus the knee has a tendency to give out. Good going on the walk. 4 miles. I'm jealous.

Thanks, Kathy. It was fun. There is a beautiful park with a .7 mile walking trail. I was doing it 10 minutes per trip, which I was happy to find out equalled a 4 mph clip after I did the math. My last trip around was somewhat slower as I had a nephew on my shoulders and a niece by the hand!
