Today is the first day of the rest of my life. Old quote, but obviously it is relevant every day! I wish I could go back 26 years and start over - maybe I wouldn't move out of the city or else I would have put more time into my house early on so that now I didn't have junky furniture and bad ceilings (which were here when I moved in!).
So, I am planning a grilling for tonight, and I'll barbecue maybe 6 pounds of meat to keep in the fridge for the week. My daughters will be home - I have to make sure they know they can't eat the meats except for dinners!

Ha! Yes. I am old enough to remember that quote. Do you remember "Love Story" with Ali McGraw and Ryan O'Neal? "Love means never having to say you're sorry." I plan to have one smore - I figure if I just put it in there, I will have points for it! Love means never having to say you're sorry - always seemed like a child's point of view, like, "if you love me, then you know enough to avoid doing anything wrong or hurtful to me" - when in reality, we do things all the time to hurt people we care about, either through ignorance or resentment or some other reason - otherwise, no one would get fat, no one would be judged poorly for being fat - and no one would fight in their marriages or have problems with their kids!

I forgot to get the Hershey bars. Couldn't stand any more shopping! The grilling went great - cooked all the meat on one chimney of charcoal. I smell liked a campfire!
