The good thing about tomorrow is that yesterday doesn't matter. Get back on track my friend.

Thanks. Actually, I'm on track! One day does not a diet make. Had a great time. logged it all in, and will adjust as necessary to meet my goals! The fun of maintenance!

Don’t stress about it too much Bill. Stick to your diet when you can and do your best when you can’t. The 80/20 rule from the Primal Blueprint diet might be a helpful read for you. I would think you could apply the rule to any diet. I can’t leave a proper link here but if you google "primal 80/20 rule" the first result is the one I suggest you check out. Let’s see if this shows up: marksdailyapple.com/dear-mark-8020-revisited

Interesting how your numbers changed ( for the better) after your workout. I didn't realize they could change that fast with simply one workout. Can't wait to start using mine (after my husband gets one for his birthday soon). Keep up the good work and enjoy your weekend. It's always fun doing stuff with your kids and watching them do stuff they enjoy.

Thanks, everyone! Having a great time. All those pre-trip words about how I was going to cool it on the calories are out the window as we really tied one on yesterday. Deep dish pizza and a DQ Blizzard ice cream treat (large). Yikes! Just had a pretty sensible brunch. My daughter is giving her cello recital at 6pm and we've catered a dinner after that so will enjoy whatever that turns out to be. Life is good! -- EGDW, yes, it was very interesting how the Tanita numbers change after a workout. I realize then (and when I weigh in with different levels of body water) that the numbers are all relative. But they are interesting to track long term...

Great! Em rocked it. She had a great recital and we had a fun party afterwards. TOTALLY blew up the diet this weekend. Back to work tomorrow!

So glad you had a great time. There are times when feeling the freedom to enjoy the moment over-rides the need to attend to details of diet and exercise. I know you will adjust once you are again in your usual routine. J

Moments like these to be cherished! Calorie burn can start when it's all over :)

Thanks, guys! Well, it was pretty ugly as I definitely overate in the extreme every day... gained ten pounds over the weekend, but looks like mostly water retention from carbs. Will work it off on my way to the Easter holiday!
