Got a nice morning weigh in of 210.6. Then after 16:8 fast, did the Spartacus weight lifting high intensity workout from Men's Health magazine. Kicked my butt and got my heart pumping but I weighed 211.0 after! Guess which weight I'm recording! ; ). It's the lowest weight number since February 23 and I think I'm on the right track with lower calories. I'm going to target 1600 a day on average for the rest of March with 1000 calorie adjustment days on Mondays. Going to try like hell to hit 205 by April 1.

Here are the 3/15/14 Tanita Numbers (after 16:8 daily fast; still showing overnight dehydration; second numbers follow Spartacus HITT workout):

Thanks, guys. Under 200 will be something... Not sure I can get there depending on my muscle mass, but it all depends on what the REAL number is. It's something between 170 and 174, depending on how reliable the Tanita estimates are. So that means I'd weigh 199 to 203 at 10 percent body fat (which itself is quite a stretch). Amazing that I am playing in the last ten pounds and that will have a radical effect on the BF percentage.

Yes, your lowest weight since February and almost your lowest weight this century? You really are going to get to Maintenance in March, aren't you. Congratulations.

Thanks, Buffy! Yes, I made it to 207 once for my ten-year high school reunion in 1986! I lost about 70 lbs. at the time to get there. After that, I went back up to 345 in the mid 90s and then hovered at that weight until 2012. It will feel good to get that number!

Doesn't it feel great to be coming out of winter and thinking about maybe dropping 5 or 10 pounds instead of desperately needing to drop 100 or more?

Yes! It feels great. I had a super nice day of eating today. Nice little treats here and there, but well within reason. And I know it will be under control.
