Poor sleep, sore muscles, too much intake. It has sure been a struggle to get the scale to shift that number downward lately. The fight continues... one day at a time. ❤️

I just found that this morning: 'you won't help shoots grow by pulling them up higher'. 😊

I understand the battle with scale but I think the way you look and feel is more important, and you look great!

You'll be back down to where you want to be in no time at all. 💕👍

Hahah, Eral66! Yep, yanking them up would help growth! 😁 LC, thanks! I do feel pretty good, but there is a fluffiness here and there I know I could do without... I have done without. The dedication to dip back down is just eluding me daily. 😊💕

Erquiaga, I'm thinking it is also left over gains from a night out on Wednesday. Fun comes with consequences! ❤️😀 Becky, thank you! ❤️ I've been working at it and it sure has been slow going. Partly I think it is because I've been pouring my energy into getting my muscles growing and moving back to normal. Shape change doesn't show a drop in the scale sometiems. That is OK, but I'd like a couple pounds of fat at loss at this point! 😁

Yes, Diana, we just keep trucking... No one says this is easy... Well except for folks who find it easy and they aren't here! 😁 I do love my walks and the area we live in. I hate the constant winter rain and gloom, but the trade off is typically spectacular summers! 💕

I feel the same Melissa. Kind of want to be super skinny but kind of want to eat all the ice-cream I want too.

You're getting the here Melissa, slowly moving in the right direction. Have a lovely weekend and send us some rose pictures! 💜

Don't you know it, LaughingChevre! 😁 Thanks, mermee! Seems like not sleeping well was common last night. Blah... Shir, thank you so much for always being an encouragement! My roses are in a lull at the moment. The heat we had made everything hurry up and bloom, and now they are starting to bud again, but very few flowers are currently open. But, I'm sure I can find a flower that is good enough to photograph! 😁

You have the right attitude, Melissa. It is one day at a time. Everyday is a new day and it is a new beginning. If you maintain your RDI's and the calculations are correct, it will happen. And if it were easy, the weight control/loss industry wouldn't be a multi-billion dollar industry full of all kinds of false promises.

Same situation!

Thanks, skidiverjim! I'm sure working at it. 😁 Blah... Princess, such an annoyance isn't it? I decided maybe it could be the diet pop Darren (my man) bought. I drank several cans. I don't even like diet pop! 😁 But, maybe it is helping me retain water. I'm gonna blame it anyway!

With those walks I'm sure that number will go right back down quickly! Hope you get some rest tonight!

You blame the diet pop and I'll blame the pizza and cinnamon sticks that I ate after already using my allotted calories. LOL

Intermittent Fasting has saved my life. Literally. IF is the health plan with the side effect of weight loss. It reduces free circulating insulin (like Ketogentic diets) except I can eat what I want during my eating “window” which includes loads of carbs if I want (most days I do, some days I don't. I'm in charge!) I have been gifted the “holy grail” of appetite correction, so I no longer crave food at all hours of the day. I fuel my body to satiety and then life my life. The Obesity Code is AWESOME as a book of science based information about IF, but it is a heavy read. Dr. Jason Fung also has a lot of YouTube Videos that you can watch for re-caps and information. AC: The Power of Appetite Correction by Dr. Bert Herring is a relatable and easy read. If you want a more down home approach to information, try reading one of Gin Stephen's books "Delay, Don't Deny" or "Fast, Feast, Repeat.” She is a former teacher so she breaks everything down in such a relatable way. If you want to hear her speak about IF, listen to her on her pod casts, "Intermittent Fasting Stories" or "The Intermittent Fasting Podcast" which she hosts with another lady. Most recently I’m reading “Fast this Way” by David Asprey. His take on fasting is a little different from some of the others, but it all boils down to reducing free circulating INSULIN in the body.
