🙋Friday Weigh In & Weekly Updates for June 25 - July 1, Week 26: I am proud of myself during this healing week! I am slowly walking, got eating focused and feel optimistic!

* Pausing stats on Week 25 as my knee mends but will report on each facet:

✅No Junk Food: had controlled portions of angel food cake (with fat free Cool Whip & raspberries), and popcorn earlier in week. NO junk food left in house, and I can't walk to it, so that is really helping me be focused on diet LOL Decided I can't have any junk food until I can walk to it!

✅Exercise: what a week! from hobbling with chair for support to unaided (in apartment) to 5 minutes of hallway walking with cane - yay! Hardest part is to honour my body - be kind to my knees - and rest.

Life update: Absolutely amazed with the healing process! Had a doctor phone call on Tuesday, as I could not manage walking to elevators, thru lobby, to cab, up stairs at office building, with a lot of walking to office. I will in 2 weeks, tho! Planning realistic daily goals to keep moving forward (laundry down hallway is next). Great time to be hyper diet focused!

Survived the heatwave! Last night had spectacular lightning show and some rain. Got Amazon Prime, so am watching Prime movies & shows (any recommendations?). Feeling pleased today, sipping my iced green tea. Soooo happy to see a weight loss after so much heat swelling :) Have a wonderful week, my friends!
