Morning weigh in of 213.4 after a 16 hour fast and 560 calorie workout. Will target 1400-1500 calories today. Indulgence days now reserved for any days when we eat out of the house. Full Tanita numbers before dinner.

Gotta' ask you Bill. Are you concerned that you may gain the weight back considering you're losing it so quickly?

Only if I eat too much for several concurrent days. I'm really not losing it quickly. I lost my initial 100 lbs. on July 4, reaching a goal of 225 lbs. I'm at 213 today, so I've essentially been in an unintentional 'maintenance' mode since July. I've been as high as the 230s and I've been down to 208 since July. My ultimate goal is to get to 195 by April 1. To do that, I'm attempting to average 1550 calories per day (per the Carson Chow RDI for that goal). After that, I think my non-workout RDI will be about 2200 calories per day. I will easily be able to eat that as an average for life. I also am keeping in the back of my mind the science of calorie deficits for anti-aging. I will continue to follow this plan for life.

Hey, Bill! Doing great, especially after the Flashdance outing! Keep it up! You'll be at that 195 before April, I think. :D

okay... gotcha. Not paying close enough attention. My apologies. This journey has been quite the education. Trying to follow others' diets and my own. Proves one size (diet) does not fit all. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks, Jill! That's right. Two years in, slow and steady. If I can do it, anybody can. I really thought I was going to have to get surgery, but I didn't.
