OK, gang! Final weigh in of 2013! Down to 217.9 after a super low calorie day (with lots of protein, Keld!) and then a nice 560 calorie workout on the old treadmill. Still have 10 to go for a new low, but I'm halfway there after "Christmas Blowout Extravaganza 2013."

Can't say I've ever done over 500 calories on the treadmill. That's a lot of steps. Congrats. Watching you and your diet.

Thanks! Sad to say, it went on to the tune of 19 lbs in a week... so glad I was able to get half of that back in the same time... Didn't get the number I wanted right after work so I 'cheated' and got on the treadmill! That will turn on the furnace and get rid of some water!

Still, I sit here in awe. I like how you work it out. You have to be very fit to get that many calories burned on the treadmill. Do you run? I am very proud of your loss so far. It's so inspiring. :)

I average about 4mph... but my real secret is that I do it on a 10 percent incline... basically going uphill the entire way. I burn more calories on my treadmill at home at 4pm than I do on the elliptical at the gym at 5mph (it's all about the elevation!)

Scary how fast the scale can go up - but atleast we all know how to get it back down. Here's to a wonderful 2014 for you!

10%... OMG and I think I'm all that and then some when I do 4%. No wonder you can burn so much. Says Kathy while wondering if she can do 6% without having a heart attack at 4 MPH. I can do 4 at 4, but 6???

You can work up to it, ClassicRocker! I had a hard time keeping going at lower elevation levels to begin with! It took some time to get here. But I got here! You can too!
