Down to 227.8 as I'm waiting for the Christmas water weight to exit. Added a lot of protein yesterday, but did end up going out for sushi and had some beers. Yes, I had sashimi too, but didn't limit myself to that! Lots of tasty rice and some specialty rolls. But I don't eat like that all the time. It was a celebration with my kids in town and we enjoyed every bite. Today's numbers:

All numbers very consistent with yesterday but droppped 1.6 pounds. Will try to eat 224 grams of protein today.
103.3 kg Lost so far: 44.1 kg.    Still to go: 10.3 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.

Losing 5.1 kg a Week

Me too had sushi yesterday but ordered delivery at home, delicious! also had cauliflower soup and rice noodles home cooked and it was a splendid lunch! not often i take sushi so it was a lovely change!

Excellent, Jenfar! I love it but have it as a special treat. I eat very simply at home but when we go out, we go for it! Thanks, Mom2Boxers. Just a few days left with my daughter and then it's back on the wagon!

Thanks, Rob. Will begin trying to hit my macros this week as there is no way I'm going to get back on my calorie average goal for December now. Let's see how this new deal works...

Yep, Bill. I totally understand. NP, you'll get there. Enjoy your remaining time with your daughter. Ugh. That sounds like a veiled threat... you know what I mean. LOL.

Luckily, we are out of time on going out. We have today and tomorrow, then I have to go to work on Monday and Denise has to take her to the airport. The girls are out shopping now (part of Em's gift was a clothes shopping spree) and I'm home doing GOOD... but don't know if they have anything in mind for later today or tomorrow. BUT... nobody's twisting my arm! There were lots of healthy choices everywhere we went (and lots of opportunities to eat less). But I made the decision to go all in... so it's on me. I can't blame my poor kids! I eat simply when they are not around and then we have fun when they are. Sort of like saving up for vacation... you live frugally to afford the big trip and when you go, you GO!

So true. I tend to eat more when I'm with my daughter too. We still have that association of food with good times, I guess.

Right. Part of being human... sharing food has connected us for thousands of years. I think a lot of dieters have failed over the years because they attempted to alter that fun and necessary part of life. I think we are on to the right track up here as we embrace it but take it a bit easier and/or go for it and adjust later. It's been one of the key secrets to my own success, I think.
