Down to 223.8 pre-dinner after a standard workday menu (684 calories so far). Added more water during the day. Going to try to do that. And eating more protein tonight.
101.5 kg Lost so far: 45.9 kg.    Still to go: 8.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Anxiously awaiting weigh in :) I cant' drink that much fluid, I would need to move my desk to the washroom - seriously for every cup I drink I have two trips. I have the smallest bladder imaginable. And with patients checking in every 15 mins I just don't have the time. Hope it helps with your loss though. I do remember in times past guzzling water like it was free (lol) and it did at that time help with the hungries and the loss. All that water also flushes out the toxins in the fat we are shedding, or that is the theory I have heard.

Yes, I'm going to try that. It was a challenge yesterday. Had to time my bathroom trips expertly. No good news this morning despite a protein-packed, water filled day yesterday. Maybe it takes a while to catch up. Did 1100 calories. Today is a fast day, so will definitely lose some by this afternoon or the morning.

Mmmm, well that sucks, no weight loss wise I mean. Our bodies seem to have minds of heir own. I only ate about 1,000 calories yesterday but I decided not to worry about it - hoping that a few days like that will stack up against the higher calories I consumed last week. I find it hard to 'trust' but I also wasn't going to start stuffing my face just to fulfil the 1200 calories requirement. I figure I'll 'maintain' now until after Thanksgiving, given my 2 upcoming trips. I will live vicariously through you, so hoping you start to lose soon so I can feel good :) How did your radio show go last night? Were you hosting, announcing or being interviewed? It sounded from what you said like you were hosting? I did try to look at your FB page on my iphone, couldn't see the pics very well. Will go on FB on the computer today to check them out.

Yes, I'm still trying to find the formula, but I can't get back to what I was doing when I was so successful becuase I don't have the calorie deficit to work with! At the beginning, it was 1800 calories per day. Trying to maintain a 1000-1200 calorie per day deficit now. I'm getting that done, but maybe I need to cool it on the spikes and valleys. The radio show went well. I host a weekly talk show for an hour each Monday night. News, commentary, and a different drag racing star each week. Been doing it since June 2010 and I've talked to lots of great people. I can send you the link to our recorded archives if you want to get a taste of what it's iike and to hear my voice. I'm working from home today so will be able to experiment. Had fiber cereal but I'm going to do tuna, salads, and lots of water to hit the remainder of my 600 calories for today. Have a good one!

Yes I'd love to hear your voice. I'll PM you my email address so you can send it directly if you like. Things don't often post well on FS. And I also hear you on not having the same success because you weigh less now. Kinda sucks but it is what it is. I am just worried, for you, as well as for me, that you won't be able to maintain/sustain 1200 calories a day when you get to maintenance. That's not a lot of calories for a man, at all. And it's great that you can work from home. You will be able to pee as much as you need to so you can guzzle water all day. Enjoy. I would love to be able to do that. I wouldn't get much work done though, I'd spend too much time loving my cat and sitting on my butt on the couch watching TV! Enjoy your day. Look for a PM with my email.

Thanks, Isabel. While we were discussing it, I went back and compared all my net calories since June 2012. I found that I was overstating it a bit. In the very beginning there were a few months of 1600-1800 deficits, but most months it ranged around 1300 or so... That's because I didn't start IF until April and my calorie intake was in the 1600-1700 range each month. That wouldn't work now, but with a 1200 deficit, I should be OK. What I did notice is far too many carbs on some of my days and I will be tracking that. My maintenance will end up being about 2000 calories a day. That will be very doable. I'll look for your PM!
