Draglist's Journal, 03 Aug 13

A little overindulgence over the past few days and some, ahem, internal food processing problems have resulted in a severe upward spike in my weight. Also, reading some compelling stuff yesterday that said a man should never consistently eat less than 1500 calories per day and I finished July at 1357. Will enjoy the weekend and get back after it next week. Got an entire month to deal with it.
103.6 kg Lost so far: 43.8 kg.    Still to go: 10.7 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.

Well, today didn't help. Went to a drag race and had two big sandwiches made by one of my friends in their trailer. TWO big subs with lots of cheese, meats, and horseradish sauce. And then I treated us to a seafood feast on the way home. Yikes, into the 3000 calorie zone. Will start to whittle it down this week.

OMG - but I bet they tasted fabulous. As we keep saying, don't we, sometimes life gets in the way or life is for living. We know we just have to compromise for a few days (sometimes longer) to compensate for living too much :) You know what to do and I have no doubt you will do it, soon.

Yes, will get to it. It's funny how much I've changed my eating habits. Things like a big sub sandwich are just not options anymore (or at least, when I do indulge, there is a significant cost). Will be back under 1200 calories today probably and then fast day one at 600 calories tomorrow. Gonna take a while to work out of this recent four day high calorie spree (2554 average over four days).

Yep it will take a while to get rid of all those calories. And yes I am sure you don't/can't eat like that anynmore. Your stomach has likely shrunk as you eat significantly less. Interesting to see how long it takes for you to 'lose' those subs :)

My guess is two weeks. Don't think I'll see 219 again this week. And then my daughter and her boyfriend come home from college this weekend. Will go out to eat during the week as we hit her favorite haunts. And then... two weeks of vacation to round out the month. But I will be driving a lot and on those days, I'll do the fast thing... fruit, etc.
