No biggie for either of us... it's a journey not a destination... we just need to keep after it and the overall arc will reward us.

I hear you but I'm still frustrated. Found out tonight's dinner is chinese food take out -yikes, high sodium, high calorie. Tough to navigate. It's a given- no rice and no chicken balls. Wish I could opt out but that's not life is it) I'm having a 'day' today - sure you know what that means. Don't know if men get those days but I know women do and as you are married - you've lived through them. My hubby is watching a race in the basement just keeping out of the way :)

Oh, I get in my moods plenty. My wife and dog give me a wide path on such days. What I do for Chinese take out days is ensure that one entry is the steamed veggies. Then I eat that for the first course. But I know how hard that rice and other meats are to pass up! Good luck...

Thanks BP. It was take out food so not too much choice but I did not have any rice. I did have 2 spring rolls and some veggies. No sweet and sour chicken balls either. So I think I did okay. And LOL on the moods, didn't know men had those moods too :)

Well, it's just that we NEVER want to talk, so you don't know when we are in them or not! LOL (but actually, pretty true). Good job on yesterday.

You made me smile - yes it is true that men NEVER want to talk - I guess that is a universal truth but you 'talk' good on here! My old man is quiet too - have to check for a pulse once in a while - lol. Glad the day is almost over. I am just tired thru and thru and want the day to be over.

This I can handle because I can take the conversation it in little bites. : ) I'm off today, so taking it easy and able to start the week with a 600 calorie day. Will do it again tomorrow and then Denise gets home at 10pm tomorrow night. I'll then probably have 1200-1400 to use for my last day of the month.

Yes, the 'net' is an easy/safe place to chat. You can talk as much as you like or as little, and when it suits you. Made for men, eh? LOL

Yes, totally made for me. My website is the biggest drag racing site in the world and I have thousands of readers (44 million lifetime, but that's over 17 years). I get hundreds of emails a day. Add to that 4200 Facebook friends and 65 thousand 'likes' on my Facebook fan page and you can see that my life would be chaos if I didn't completely control my own schedule. I'm a good conversationalist when I have cleared my schedule and I am somewhere where I am just hanging out. But any other time, I'm basically ducking contact...
