You have earned them! 💙 You know... Last week was the first time I had a big gain from an indulgent day and I didn't fast or go way under calories for a few days. I was lower the next day but didn't go hungry and then stuck pretty much 1700 for the next few days and the weight left plus some. This was new for me. I normally just freak out and go without eating for a day at least. The more calm approach eventually yielded the same result for me with less pain! 😁 I'm trying to figure out what is best for me. You clearly already know what works for you! 😁

I'm only two and a half months into my maintenance plan, Melissa, so I'm still learning. I think it's funny how some indulgences that I expected to cause a big gain don't (like the treats I had at Wendy's) while others have a huge impact that I didn't expect (like that chicken burrito I had a while back). Yesterday's treats obviously had an impact, but I'm back on my diet today. One thing I do know is that I don't do well fasting. I've tried it, but I don't feel well, I feel really deprived and I can't stop thinking about all the things I'd like to eat, so I have to have something. I logged what I'll eat today, according to my diet plan, and I'm still gonna get 1,200 calories. I know if I stick to my plan, this little gain will soon go away and I'll be back where I was fairly quickly. Hopefully it'll only take two or three days to get back under 172, but it's okay is it takes a little longer.
